Recently, I worked on a project for local Denver/Boulder realtor Amy LaBorde. She had several different sites to handle the many types of listings she handles – Denver vs. Boulder, For Sale vs. For Rent, Furnished/Unfurnished, etc.
Using the WP-Property Plugin and some hours of modification, we were able to create a streamlined property search function. All search results are returned on a single page – “properties” – and a sidebar search widget refines the results.
For the Home Page, I wanted to have a cool, stylized way to carry out a quick search by region and for sale/ for rent. I crafted image checkboxes to feed the search. Check it out!

Norbert found me through the Graph Paper Press showcase. He’s a photographer from Palo Alto who does a lot of newspaper and magazine work. Before he found me, he was using LiveBooks (at about $50.month) to manage his site. Using Sidewinder with few modifications, he got a big improvement over what he had!

Marmot has been great, sending along gear for various expeditions I’ve been on. So far in return I’ve provided them with many images for use in their web and print media. This little review of the Ascona jacket by Abbey Smith was a perfect opportunity to finally crack open the shell on FCP and start leaning how to edit video. Next, I have hours of footage from Peru this fall to edit into something!

In the fall of 2010 I was privileged to join my friends Jason Kehl, Abby Smith and Pete Takeda in India for a ‘himalayan bouldering expedition.’ I shot the expedition, and it appeared in the March 2011 Men’s Journal, as well as Dead Point magazine, Escalade, Klettern, and with mentions in Elevation Outdoors, and other media. Special thanks to the Jonny Copp Foundation for their assistance with the Jonny Copp Award.
Jason produced several episodic short films; you can watch them on YouTube:
